Graduated from the Department of Composition, Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2017.
In 2019, formed the unit “N nulls” with composer Syuwa Nagai and conductor Kyotaro Sawamura.
Composed full operas for productions by the Camerata Project, including “Small Theater Opera: Izumo no Okuni”, “Opera: Hako”, and the mono-opera “Ichi to Shi Ikeru Mono”, as well as “Opera: Adachi-hime”, organized by Rojicoya.
Served as music director (composer) for the animated film “A Certain Young Japanese Artist”, produced by Nekonigashi Inc.
Orchestrated arrangements for “Uchi de Odorou” and “Hoshikage no Yell,” planned by Arts Innovator Japan Inc.
Composed music for the web commercial celebrating the release of Volume 5 of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.
Cocomposed and arranged the original song “Sakuragami”, performed by Sachiko Kobayashi.
Plays piano and composes select songs for the band Yuransen, formed by Itaru Uchimura.
In addition to contributing many compositions, actively participates in ensembles as a pianist, engaging in music activities that transcend genres with a distinctive style.
Also works in design, and has been publishing the comic series “Gakuman” bimonthly in the magazine Gekkan Piano since the September 2016 issue (pen name: Eskom).
Continues to pursue creative activities beyond the boundaries of music.

Born in Chiba, Japan.
After graduating from the Department of Conducting at Tokyo University of the Arts, he studied conducting at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory in Milan, Italy, graduating in 2022 with the highest marks.
He was mentored by Masanori Mikawa, Ken Takaseki, Kazufumi Yamashita, and Vittorio Parisii and attended master classes taught by Ryusuke Numajiri, Daniele Gatti, and Fabio Luisi to further his skills.
In 2019, he participated in several performances at the New National Theatre, Tokyo as an assistant conductor.
In 2021, he won the top prize at the 9th Luigi Mancinelli International Opera Conducting Competition.
He then conducted a new opera performance at Teatro Coccia (Novara) as a supplementary prize.
In 2022, he received the Ichikawa City Culture and Arts Encouragement Award.
In 2023, he attended Riccardo Muti’s course at the Spring Festival in Tokyo, after winning a competitive audition that attracted applicants worldwide.
So far, he has performed with the New Japan Philharmonic, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Gunma Symphony Orchestra, and others.
With a wide musical background in both symphonic and operatic fields, he is highly regarded by performers and audiences for his music-making centering his unique rich musical expressions.

Graduated from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, and later also graduated from the Department of Composition, Faculty of Music at the Tokyo University of the Arts.
Composed “Yosakoi” and “Mihara Yassa” for alto saxophone and piano, “Kompira Funafune” for saxophone quartet, and “Nanbu Ushi Oi Uta” for euphonium and piano on NHK-FM’s “Hibiki: The Wind Music Program”.
Commissioned work for recorder quartet by Minoru Yoshizawa, “Aru Nemuri No Naka Deno Koto(Once in a Dream)”, published by Vorn Musik.
Published a two-part chorus version of “Sweet Memories” for female voices in the magazine “Hanna”.
While attending the University of Tokyo, he won a special prize in the piano section of the Kanagawa Music Competition for Senior Pianists and a special jury prize at the Tokyo International Art Association Newcomer Audition.
He is currently active in both composition and performance.

Profile

He grew up listening to Queen, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Motley Crue, Gary Moore, Novella, Yin-Yang-Za, and Sex Machine Guns through his parents’ influence and was especially fascinated by Queen, who awakened his passion for music.
He suddenly developed an interest in classical music at the age of 10 and taught himself to play Chopin’s “Revolution”.
He then started to dream of composing his own piano concerto just like Rachmaninoff.
In junior high school, he listened to Toru Takemitsu’s “November Steps” on a daily basis which broadened his interest in Takemitsu’s choral and film works, which are also tonal in nature.
Although he loved large late-Romantic works by Wagner, Mahler, and R. Strauss, popular music such as Sukanchi, aiko, and L’Arc~en~Ciel was also a favorite of his in high school.
In college, he found interest in the Hollywood music of Korngold.
Having grown up interested in a wide variety of music in this way, he now creates music across multiple genres.
His favorite painting is “Ashita No Shinwa(Myth of Tomorrow)” by Taro Okamoto.

Profile

Taichi Chishaki is a composer, pianist from Tokyo, Japan. He started playing the piano at the age of 6.
When he was young, he had many opportunities to come into contact with Japanese traditional music through “Noh” (a form of Japanese traditional theater) which his grandfather performed.
He started composing classical music at the age of 18 and entered Tokyo University of the Arts.
In college, he produced contemporary classical music and was also involved in film music.
He can write anything from piano pieces to orchestral pieces.
From 2021, he started releasing his own piano pieces on various music platforms.
In composing, he places the most importance on simple melodies and sound reverberations, and specializes in works that incorporate classical music composition methods.
He is influenced by L.V.Beethoven, D.Shostakovich, and Ryuichi Sakamoto.

In 2023, “Harmonism I” was released under the label of “1631 Recordings”.
On Christmas Day, 2024, “The Garden” was released by the first Japanese label dedicated to post-classical music, “NEXTVIEW Labels”.

Profile

The duo, who are well versed not only in classical music but also in various other genres, fascinate listeners with their style that is simple yet focused on harmonic contextualization. Their pieces, mainly piano pieces, invite the listener to enter the world of noxs in a relaxed manner, little by little, while staying close to the listener's heart. The music of noxs will be delivered to the world so that the listener can spend a brief moment with a more peaceful mind.

Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 2002, I began playing the piano at the age of three and the cello at six. After graduating from the String Department of the Faculty of Music at Kyoto City University of Arts, I am currently specializing in cello in the Practical Music Course at Tokyo University of the Arts.
My interest in composition and improvisation was sparked during my childhood when I would recreate songs I heard on television and the radio by ear. While studying at Kyoto City University of Arts, I formed a trio with keyboard, saxophone, and percussion, performing a wide range of music from original compositions to cover songs.
My style is characterized by a foundation in classical music while incorporating diverse genres such as jazz and pop from various eras. I am exploring a "post-classical" style from both the creative and performance perspectives.

She began playing the piano at an early age and later pursued a career in acting after graduating from university. She has appeared in various films, TV dramas, commercials, and music videos, and received the Best Supporting Actor Award at the Ashiya International Arts Film Festival in 2024. As an artist, she has also held solo exhibitions, including “0’” (2023) and “To Kage - Accessories, Photography and Painting -” (2024), actively working across multiple creative fields.

N nulls was formed in 2019 by composer–arranger Hidekazu Nagai and conductor Kyotaro Sawamura, both alumni of the Tokyo University of the Arts. The name embodies the ideas of “Next Japonism,” “No one knows,” “No border, only music,” and the German word “null”—meaning zero.In 2022, the duo entered their second creative chapter, redefining their sound within the post-classical genre. Grounded in classical compositional techniques, N nulls seeks to craft a sonic world that transcends boundaries—an entirely new landscape of sound yet to be heard.
